It is common awareness that far more people fail at doing business online than succeed. It is easy to follow the mistaken perception that providing enough choices for people will certainly capture the greatest number of them in your marketing net. We all enjoy having options, so it is an easy to understand feeling to want to provide them to possible customers. However, options are often a destroyer of sales, but yes it can hinge on the situation. It is counter-intuitive, but giving people in your sales funnel a great deal of options can backfire. When it comes down to making choices, or decisions, then far too many have a rough time with it. That can be particularly true with purchasing decisions. Purchasing indecision is perhaps the greatest killer of sales.
If you are infamously “cheap,” then stay clear of making the premiss that the rest of the world is cheap, too. We are talking about imagining everybody buys at the cheapest possible price – that is patently false. Look all around you, there are low priced, inexpensive, and outrageously priced goods and services in all markets. Products priced in the upper stratosphere have been known for a long time. The fact that they have existed for so long instantly dispells any myth that all people are cheap. People want to spend a lot on certain things for their own motives. So if you truly have something to offer that is really high quality, then you have to learn how to position your product in your marketing copy. The important thing is for you to understand the selling psychology behind expensive items.
Have you ever had the thought that a product or service was so great that everyone must need it, or that everybody will buy it? It is feasible that many people have had that kind of thought. Yes, there have been greater than a few products that have been extremely popular. Yet there is no single product or stock service that everybody has bought. The risk of this line of contemplating in your own business is it can easily make you complacent and fail to market or advertise to the extent that you should. If you begin to imagine your product will be universally liked, then that will point you down harmful paths. It is delusional to think about any service/product will be well-received by everybody.
