I am sure you know already that there are thousands of keen tennis players who would happily invest in order to improve their game. So you need to find an area within tennis that you can market to. For example you could develop an ebook that teaches people how to improve their tennis serve. Your ebook could focus on showing people how to develop an incredibly powerful tennis serve. You niche tree may look something like this.

General Area of Interest- Sport
Mini Niche – Tennis
Micro Niche – Tennis Serve

The important thing to do is really focus on what the prospects want to achieve. We are using tennis as an example here. If you know tennis you know that it is an incredibly competitive game. People who play tennis really want to beat their opponents and there is a lot of emotion involved. You’d want to present you tennis ebook in a way that appeals to these people at a gut level. Ie. Buy my ebook, massively improve your tennis serve and beat the hell out of your opponent! If you presented this in the right way it would have a magnetic appeal to a hyper responsive group of people and that would mean good profits for you. This really is the basis of internet niche marketing.

How Do I Find A Niche To Market To?

Now that you understand the basics of internet niche marketing, you will obviously want to know how to discover profitable niches to market to. As ever with internet marketing there is no right or wrong answer. There is a certain amount of art and instinct about it. 1. Google Trends

Head over to Google Trends and see what is hot at the moment. You’d be surprised at some of subjects and topics that people are interested and google trends are a good way to find out what’s interesting to people at the moment.

2. Amazon

Visit Amazon and have a look at their best sellers list. See what kind of books and DVD’s are hot at the moment. For example a couple of years there was a book called ‘The Secret’ which explored a concept called The Law of Attraction. This was incredibly hot and probably still is and there is a plethora of products that you could develop or promote relating to personal developemt/lOA. Amazon may reveal some useful information that help you in finding a niche.

3. Ebay Pulse

Have a look at Ebay Pulse to see what the most popular items are at the moment. Again do an assessment of the items and see what related promote you might be able to develop of promote.

4. Keep An Idea Journal

Make sure you note all of your own ideas down. Remember you can always check them with the google keyword tool to see if there is any demand. Again you might be really surprised at the sort of things that people are interested in. You need to make it your business of finding out what is hot and popular at the moment. So keep your eyes open, check out magazines, read books just make a real effort to find out what is happening in the world.
