The path to success is never easy and the internet marketing world is no different. If you are truly committed to making money on the internet then you are going to encounter serious challenges, setbacks and problems. It is highly unlikely that everything is going to run smoothly from the second you go online.

The good news is that if you do encounter challenges and setbacks then it is a sure sign that you are going to succeed. How can I say that? Well the fact is that nothing great has been achieved by anybody without overcoming obstacles. People who achieve great things have usually had to overcome a lot of rejection, frustration and disappointment.

Napoleon Hill had the privilege over 70 years ago of researching 500 of the world’s most successful people. He noticed that every single one of them had overcome massive challenges before they got where they are. However by sheer force of will and unwavering persistence they eventually triumphed.

If you have struggled to make money online, that’s great news because it means success is round the corner!

So if you are currently facing serious challenges and are really struggling to make money online, take it as a sign that you are destined for success! It’s a universal law that before any success comes much heartache and pain. If you don’t believe have a look at the stories of the people that we now consider to be highly successful. There are many internet marketers who are very open about their own struggles and battles before success found them. In fact it’s through our failures that we learn the lessons that lead to our success. Consider this

•	Walt Disney went bankrupt 6 times before founding Disney World.
•	Colonel Sanders lived in his car for 2 years and was turned down by 1,000 restaurants for his now famous recipe.
•	Simon Cowell went broke and had to move back in with his parents when he was 30.
•	Thomas Edison tried thousands of times before he finally cracked the electric light bulb.
•	George Lucas was totally broke and in debt to the studios while making the first Star Wars.

So what’s the secret? Why after so much failure did these people eventually succeed?

Persistence! These people didn’t stop, even in the face of massive obstacles they kept on going and eventually they succeeded.

If you want to succeed online they, you are going to have to intentionally cultivate an iron will inside of yourself. You must not give up, no matter what. Even at those times when things really aren’t going your way, you must dig deep inside of yourself and carry on. You will find that the universe will test how much you really want success. If you give up, you fail the test. Conversely if you keeping going no matter what, eventually you will be rewarded. At times you are going to be tested so hard that you really will feel like throwing in the towel. You have to stay strong and you have to push through the pain barrier. If you manage to do this, it’s almost like you are sending a message back to the universe that you are 100% committed to achieving your goal. When you do this, the success will start to flow to you.

Now I’m not going to pretend this is easy because it isn’t. In fact controlling your mind and keeping a strong positive attitude at all times can be very difficult. But let’s face it, if it was easy then everyone would be making a fortune. The people don’t succeed are the people who give up just before something great is going to happen. Imagine if Colonel Sanders had given up on restaurant 999, then he wouldn’t have made a fortune and the world would be deprived of that delicious chicken.

Are you stopping 3 feet from gold?

I love ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill, it’s one of my favourite books of all time and I encourage all of you to read it. There is one particular story in the book that powerfully demonstrates the power of persistence. The true story is off a man who sets out to make his fortune in the great gold rush. After trying and trying he had some success and believed that he had struck the biggest goldmine in Colorado. Then one day something happened. The vein of gold stopped. Convinced that his fortune was lost, he decides to sell his tools to another man, who knowing a little bit about geometry goes to check out where he was digging. Well it turns out that the original man who was mining for gold, has actually stopped 3 feet from a massive goldmine! If he had just carried on another 3 feet who would have made his fortune! Learning of his mistakes he vowed that would never again stop ‘3 feet from gold’ and he made his fortune in another industry (if you want to read the full story, you can check it out here).

How many people do you think have given up just before things were going to turn around for them? A lot. In fact, MOST people give up far too easily, which is the reason why there are so few people are leading totally fulfilling and rich lifestyles.

You don’t want to be like most people. You want to be part of the select few that carry on regardless of impossible circumstances. If you can dig deep and find in yourself to preserve no matter what, then I promise you, you will succeed. There is money to be made online and you absolutely deserve success and financial abundance.

To your massive success,

Guy
